Yes folks you can say D30 is officially on a winning streak, after a one and one start D30 has put some games together and is now 5 - 1. Last week we had a battle with the pepper and did what we had to do to get a W. "that was a hard fought game, we were close but we knew it was just going to be a matter of time before they opened it up, and thats what happened, they are a great team not much more i can say about it" said pepper coach Jeff Tellmann.
Last night D30 took its winning way into the GAmbo against the merchants. Game started off as usual, D30 gets up by 2....we started screwing around a bit and then they scored. This is when the turning point of the game started. CAptian Kilgore...aka...hot bod (next time you are in an area all alone with captain K, ask him to take his shirt off, its a spectacle of male fitness) Captain K called a time out and said "we can not give up another 2-0 lead, we have come to far so lets finish this thing"
After this riveting speech the Rosty Quinn...and a little bit of norby line took over the game. The game was 2-1 and then rosty and quinn...and a little norby decided to put up 7 goals....yes folks 7 3 from rosty, 3 from quinn, and 1 from norby to blow the game wide open. "that was just a special treat tonight, the two fans in the stands got to see how hockey should be played" said fredie "they took the game over and we just got to sit back and watch"
Game ended 9-3 but not before Dave "i like balls" bies decided to cross check quinn in the back and get kicked out of the game...great job dave.....remember this is city league

On a sad note, Stew "Sponsor" Mattson took a nasty spill hanging Christmas lights earlier this week and busted himself up something good. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and yours Stew. This weekends holiday tourney will be in memory of Stew and his commitment and support to our team. We will be passing around a collection before the games on Friday. I also think that we should think about naming this thing something like the Stew Mattson Holiday Bush and Christmas Light Invitational.
