Anywho,
Last night D30 had a tilt with Southgate aka old balls and it was a barn burner. The BLC was rocking last night with 10 fans, two of which were drunk and drunker (zack and cody bart)...thanks for showing up, you inspired us to a big W.
So D30 started off flying with a 2-0 lead. Then we decided to take squat on the blue and found ourselfs down 3-2. "thats just unacceptable, we have done that a few times this year. We need to get the lead and grow on it not sit back and play with our dingys and expect to win....in the whitey cup you cant expect anything...every win is earned and D30 needs to realize that" said Brew baby backhand.
The first ended with a 3-3 tie, after some regrouping on the bench a few quick words from captain kilgore D30 was able to come out and play better. The game was back and forth with a lot of blown chances on both teams but with about 7 minutes left in the third it happened........rosty picks up the puck at center ice, hes got lies with him, they enter the zone oh great move by rosty......pass to lies....goaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal, D30 up 5-4 with 7 left, oh what a play by rosty.
But D30 got caught running around in their own end and old balls tied it up with 3 left, so the last 3 minutes were pretty heated and as the buzzer sounded gomer decided to take rosty's arm and use it for batting practice and then use his face as a wet cloth to clean the glass. so rosty has a pentaly shot with 00:00 on the clock but he missed on a crafty poke check by pier.
SHHOOOOOOOOOOT OUT:
Steve "All American" Johnson went in and scored the first goal in the shoot out but that is all Decker was going to allow "Steve mad a great move but I knew i just had to re-group and stop the next two to give us a chance to win" said decker
D30 answered with 2 goals and that is all they would need cause decker came up big "it was a great game by decker, he had big save after big save tonight, and he just capped it off with a great shoot out performance...he showed everyone tonight why he is our number one goalie" said coach lucke

Just a reminder...Gomer got quote of the night last year when we played them FLASHBACK-after the game there was some pushing and shoving while shacking hands and gomer said "see you at the big dance" as he was skating off the ice.

why is this blog never updated. who was the one with all the informational and witty stories posted last year. must have been Jako or Horny. its to bad they were cut, now our team is good and our blog sucks.
